BUY IPOD TOUCH
I buy ipod touch yesterday, This is a really great product, it does almost anything. The wifi capabilities and apps make it just like an iphone (obviously without the phone part). The only things I dislike about the iPod touch is that it lacks a camera, and that it lacks a microphone jack (which is necessary for several apps). Otherwise, it has great sound quality, good battery life, and has a large screen that makes browsing easy. I'd give it a 4.5/5.

I've had iPod before and I buy ipod touch from amazon, but I heard the itouch was different and they were right. I love that it's basically a netbook that fits in your pocket with tons of features and a good amount of storage space. Browse the web, play games, music, take notes, has great business programs and such.
Pros: fast, tons of programs available for great prices, easy to use, durable as hell, versatile. Good batt life for music (but not other things)
Cons: Cannot replace battery by myself if it fails, or put in a larger battery like you can with other devices, Apple refuses to add flash player which limits websites you can go to (I'm guessing this is so it would keep people from making flash games for it), battery lasts maybe 2 hours if you play a game.
Overall it's an amazing device I just wish apple would be less restrictive with their devices and let more things work with/for it to make it even better. Even with these faults it's still amazing and worth getting. Stick with the 32/64gb versions since they have a faster/better processor and great amounts of storage.

Buy iPod touch 8GB 3rd generation
This is by fare the best mp3 player. It's alot more than a mp3 player, more like a mini computer. It can do everything that I can imagine. 4.0 os is coming this summer and then we can multitask like everyone else. 4.0 os is going to make the iphone and the itouch into something that is going to put Apple lightyears ahead of everyone for along time. Can't wait for 4.0 os.

Buy iPod touch - Great Product
The Ipod Touch is a great product. I buy ipod touch mainly because I can surf the web, check email, etc, without turning on a computer. It works, but it's the web surfing's slower than I expected. All the different apps help, but you don't always get exactly what you are looking for. I'm still a bit disappointed that flash isn't available on it yet. Overall, great product, but can still use some final touches.

I gave this as a gift and the person I gave it to absolutely loves it! However we did have a problem with the original iPod and had to return it to our local Apple store. (Fortunately, there is one near us and they graciously accepted it and gave us a replacement one.) There were times when you'd touch an item on the iPod screen and instead of opening up to the next screen, it would flutter without pulling up what you wanted. There were also times when the screen would completely freeze. Although we had these problems with the original iPod we ordered on line, the replacement works great and we haven't had any problems.
